Class of 2022 players, Ryan and Ben Huntley, have announced they will play at the next level at Redlands CC.
Ben was a 3 year varsity starter for the Tigers. This past season, he batted .412 and led the team in home runs (4) and RBIs (45). Ben also led the team with a 1.164 OPS.
Ben's senior season caught enough attention that he was named to the COAC All Conference Team (2nd team) as an outfielder along with being named the Tigers' Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Redlands head coach, Kyle Koehler, projects Ben to be an outfielder/catcher/utility player.
Ryan was a 3 year varsity member while starting the past 2 seasons at shortstop. This past season, he batted .374 and was 3rd on the team with 28 RBIs primarily from the lead off spot.
Ryan also got some post season awards recognition being named to the COAC All Conference Team (1st team) as a shortstop, the OBCA 6A West All Star Team, and honorable mention on The Oklahoman's Big All City team. Ryan is projected to be a SS/2B for the Cougars.
