Class of 2022 outfielder, Harrison Smith, announced last week that he will be playing at the next level at Coffeyville CC.

Smith was a 3 year varsity starter for the Tigers. This past year, Smith held down the 2 spot in the order and batted over .400. He led the team in OBP, total hits, and triples. Smith was also 2nd on the team in OPS. 

Smith's performance earned him several awards this year. He was selected as a co-offensive player of the year for the team and received spots on the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association 6A West Team, the Central Oklahom Athletic Conference team, and the Oklahoma City Area Baseball Coaches Association All Star team.

Coffeyville CC is a 2 year junior college in southeastern Kansas. They play in the 18 team Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. They finished 2022 with a 31-24 record. 

Smith is the second Tiger to sign to play at the next level. Connor Goodson previously signed to play at NCAA Div III Grinnell College in Iowa.
